1. In accordance with the "Principles for Suspension of Physical Classes in the Campus due to COVID-19" released by the Ministry of Education on April 12nd, physical classes will be resumed from April 18th. Course Instructors must implement real-name roll call or take a photo in class. Instructors and students must wear masks in class and sanitize hands when entering the classroom. Eating and drinking are prohibited during the class.
2. If there is exposure history or related symptoms (such as: sore throat, running nose, cough, gastrointestinal discomfort, fever or other acute respiratory symptoms), please report to the University as soon as possible and have a rapid screening test or seek medical treatment immediately. In addition, close contact as possible infected cases identified by the Health Department (person who has been in contact with the confirmed case for 15 minutes without wearing mask, such as roommates and having meals, before the onset of the confirmed case) should be “implementing off-campus quarantine ”. Those who attended class but wearing masks all the time are treated as non-close contact case and will not be quarantined.
3. Single entrance control of each building is mandatory during epidemics. Staff and students are required to show the ID and measure body temperature when entering the building.
4. Because the Omicron virus is a very highly contagious strain, staff and students should avoid having meals in restaurants. Please buy your meal boxes and have your meals in classroom or office with social distancing. Common dining area will be allocated. Please do not talk during meals and leave as soon as possible after meals.
5. Faculty, staff and students are encouraged to complete the COVID-19 vaccine booster (third dose). Please connect to CGU-WIFI in the campus and scan the QR code when entering confined area. Moreover, please download the "Taiwan Social Distancing" APP and keep it connected during activities to help epidemics control. The University will update the guidelines according to the guidelines from the Ministry of Education.
