[Announcement of the Epidemic Prevention and Control Team] In line with the adjustment of the Government’s epidemic prevention measures, the University’s epidemic prevention measures will be adjusted from Oct 13, 2022.

In line with the adjustment of the Government's epidemic prevention measures, the major adjustments in the University will be implemented from Oct 13, 2022, as follows:


1. If staff and students live with their family members or roommates who are diagnosed with COVID-19, during self-epidemic prevention period, the rules are as follows:

a. If you have symptoms, please take rest at home and do not enter the campus for work or class.

b. Those who have taken 3 doses of vaccine, are asymptomatic, and have a rapid screening negative result within 2 days, can enter the campus for work and class.

c. Those who have not received full 3 doses of vaccine should implement 3-day home quarantine and 4-day self-epidemic prevention. During the home quarantine period, you are not allowed to enter the campus for work or class. During the self-epidemic prevention period, if you are asymptomatic and have a rapid screening negative result within 2 days, you can enter the campus for work and class.


2. From Oct 13, international travelers are exempted from home quarantine, but still be required to implement 7-day self-epidemic prevention. The rules during the self-epidemic prevention period are as above.


3. Please cooperate with the University's epidemic prevention measures. When entering the campus, you should wear a mask, wash your hands frequently, maintain a social distance, avoid talking when eating at the table, and do not go to work or class when you are sick.

a. Confirmed or rapid-screened positive cases: 7-day home care will be implemented. After the expiration of the period, those who are asymptomatic can enter the campus to work and attend classes.

b. For those who take off their masks for more than 15 minutes with the confirmed cases (and rapid-screening positive cases), the University provides 1 dose of rapid-screening test. Those who are negative for the rapid-screening test can enter the campus for work and class. If you have symptoms, please seek medical treatment as soon as possible.

c. Self-health monitoring is required for those who wear masks throughout the activities with confirmed cases (and rapid-screening positive cases).

d. Please report to the University and the Health Care unit. If there is a concealed or false report that endangers public health, it can be punished in accordance with the Law on the Prevention and Control of Infectious Diseases.
